# Cut Off Access to Skillup for an Employee

## Your employee database updates with each import. However, you can also deactivate an employee without waiting for the next import.

Employee access management is found under **Configuration \> Platform Administration \> Connection Mode**. In the list of employees, search for the relevant employee using the search bar. Then, click on the three dots at the end of the line and select **"+ Revoke access to Skillup"**.

A "disabled" tag will then appear in the "Connection Type" column to confirm the success of this action.

**💡Note:** A disabled employee can be manually reactivated by clicking on the three dots again and selecting "+ Restore access to Skillup".
