# How to Extract Temporary Usernames and Passwords for Employees Without an Email Address?

## How can you extract employee identifiers without email?

**A connection mode using a username and password is available for employees who do not have a professional email address.** You can generate passwords by navigating to **Configuration \> Platform Administration** \> *Select employees whose passwords have not been generated* \> and clicking on the **"+ Generate Passwords" button.**

A PDF document containing each user's usernames and passwords will begin downloading. It will then be up to you to distribute the passwords to the employees through your own means.

💡If you have multiple scopes and if it helps with distributing passwords, you can generate passwords by scope.

The involved employees will need to choose their new password during their initial login.

If a password is forgotten, you can generate a temporary password for them again, which they will need to reset during their next login.
