# Delete a Skill Category

## From your Manager Space, you have the ability to remove categories of skills.

Here are the steps to delete a skill category:

1. Go to your **Manager Area \> Configuration \> Skills**
2. Select the "**Skill Category**" tab
3. The three dots to the right of the category you wish to delete will allow you to access the corresponding action:

⚠️**Caution**: if you delete a category to which skills are linked, those skills will no longer be categorized.
